Hooded Merganser – 3/10/10

Scientific Name: Lophodytes cucullatus

Comments: I observed two males and a female hooded merganser diving frequently. Also saw one common merganser, several ring-necked ducks, and a pair of wood ducks among a large number of Canada geese.
