Moose Hill, the Society’s oldest sanctuary, has walking trails that traverse nearly 2,000 acres of forest, grassland, swamp, and bogs. To help introduce you to the many natural wonders at Moose Hill, sanctuary programs include maple sugaring, scavenger hunts, Halloween prowls, art exhibits, and summer solstice hayrides. If you’re looking for a great location that’s close to Boston to go “leaf-peeping” in the fall, visit Moose Hill’s red maple swamp, which features gorgeous foliage and is easily accessible by boardwalk.
