What are the differences between bluebirds and bluejays? -By: Rachel, Clara, and Tyler

Bluebirds and blue jays are different in many ways. One difference is that blue jays are bigger than bluebirds. Another difference is that blue jays are omnivores and bluebirds are carnivores. Also, the bluebird’s habitat are grasslands, and the blue jay’s habitat are forests. And, a cool difference is that the bluebirds nest in cavities in trees, and blue jays nest in tree branches. A bluebird’s french name is “Merle Bleu”, and a blue jay’s french name is “Gela Bleu”. We think bluebirds and blue jays are different and cool in their own ways!
